But what makes it easier is being connected to a community that understands those challenges and is working alongside you every day. That’s where the Chamber comes in.
At the Penticton & Wine Country Chamber of Commerce, we are a not-for-profit organization with 4 staff members and Board of Directors with a strong voice for over 450 local business members. We’re here to support, connect, and advocate for our members, while helping create a healthy, growing local economy.

What does the Chamber do?
Most people see the Events, Promotions, and Networking as why the Chamber exists, but what we do goes much deeper.
At its core, the Chamber is about people coming together to support something bigger than themselves. Our board, our members, and our partners all work toward one shared goal: a stronger community. Because when our community is strong, all local businesses have the opportunity to thrive. We work closely with all levels of government and community partners to advocate for business and create opportunities that help you succeed. That means supporting initiatives that keep business local and growing, helping bring visibility to our region, and ensuring Penticton continues to be a place where businesses want to be. We’re also focused on giving our members real, practical value.
From educational workshops and business resources to marketing opportunities and community initiatives, we aim to support you at every stage.
Throughout the year, we host events designed to bring people together from networking opportunities like Business & Bites to speaker sessions and community-driven programs that help you build relationships and stay engaged.
