Message from the President

I am pleased to welcome you as a member of the Penticton & Wine Country Chamber of Commerce. Each year you will elect a Board of Directors that represents a broad spectrum of the business community. One of our primary objectives is to represent you, our members, to the business world that we function in every day, including local government. To do that, we need your input, so I’m asking that you be a contributing member. Let us know what the barriers are to your success and any challenges you face on a daily basis. Take advantage of the networking opportunities for three reasons – promoting your business, seeking feedback from other business owners, and last but not least, for the social aspect. From breakfast “Power Hours” to “Business After Business” networking mixers, there is something sure to fit your busy schedule.

We commit to bringing you educational sessions throughout the year, sometimes in a luncheon format, and other times as a seminar or workshop in our Boardroom. I am pleased that you have chosen to be a member of an organization that represents business and supports excellence. To top it all off, we also host the community’s annual “Business Excellence Awards” every January, where businesses and involved citizens receive a well-deserved nod.
